Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson first met in a church in Hamburg they knew that there was no turning to the other side. Ashley was only 17 and never had a boyfriend, so Andrew and Ashley took things very slow. They were instantly in love. The day before New Day, right before the start of 2016 Andrew asked God to grant him one last thing that is the year... to ensure that Ashley would say yes and wed him. Ashley really wanted to do the wedding with a folk-inspired wooden theme to symbolize Andrew as well as her. Their wedding day consisted of all their loves. Ashley developed in the 40 acres of land picked as the location for their wedding. Ashley had a good understanding of the entire area having walked through it and played in the area. Andrew and Ashley have also visited several times since they began dating. The couple did most of the DIY work which is why personalizing it is essential. Andrew and Ashley's dad created the seating areas and the arch used for the ceremony. Ashley painted many of the decors. Ashley says that with Anna's stunning floral design the wedding would not have been as magical and intimate as I imagined. It's truly amazing.
